Bend subdivisoin spotlight

Ok… I haven’t blogged in a while.  Truth is, I’ve been really busy selling properties.  But I realize that blogging is a great way to inform potential Bend newcomers.  So I’ve decided to start an ongoing, “subdivision spotlight” blog.  This blog will highlight the benefits (and maybe drawbacks of subdivisions in Bend and maybe some in Sunriver and Redmond). I’ll run through whether or not the subdivision has HOA fees, CC&R’s, average lot sizes, average prices, and so on.

It’s going to be a mix of subdvisions.  The posts will include some high end golf course subdivisions like Pronghorn or Broken Top, some entry level subdivisions on Bend’s east side. and everything else in between.  I’ll focus on the real estate sales and current inventory, while also shedding light on the location, community, and overall vibe.

Time to get rolling on this new project.

  1. Well at least being a realtor you have a alot of unique local content to blog about. I used to be a lawyer and it was hard coming up with new topics. Appellate courts didn’t announce alot of opinions and truthfully it rarely intersected a clients interests.

I’ve been trying to get busy and do a deal of the day and some neighborhood podcasts.

  2. Congrats on being so busy. I am having the same difficulty juggling clients and keeping up with blog posts. 2012 is going to be a great year. Wish you lots of success this year.

  3. Hey, there’s nothing to worry about!

The most important thing, naturally, is that you’ve been so busy selling a lot of properties! Keep up the good work and I wish you as much success as possible in the future too ;)

  4. I love it down there. We’re coming to Sun River in August so my wife can play in the USTA tennis sectionals. I played in them in Portland last year, and I have to admit, Bend would have been a heck of a lot more fun.

It’s great to see there is still so much development going on down there. We’re just starting to pick up around here again, especially in the under $400K market, after about 3 years of complete stagnation.

  5. Good start for this year, Congratulations to your new project. Hope you’ll be sharing much of what you’ve been busy these days. Though, it’s quite obvious that being a realtor is a busy task.

  6. Interesting that Bend is experiencing the same as my market so far away. Real Estate is definitely turning the corner. Good luck with the new project. Sounds like it will lead to you being even more busy!

  7. What a great start for the year! Congratulations on your sales. I also think creating a “subdivision spotlight” blog is a great idea. It gives the would be customers the convenience of searching for that perfect place to live and may create some leads for you! Good luck on that new project!
